Our nutrition program helps to fund school lunches at Chini School. The goal is to feed all the students from the school during lunch time every day. The menu includes beans and maize.

Our dental school program has been a success. 564 children from Chini School in Kikavu, were screened, and 222 tooth cavities have been treated.
We fully implemented out toothbrushing programme in Kikavu primary school this year. Sofia trained all the teachers on the importance of dental hygiene as well as technique in July 2017.
Throughout the year we have provided each student with a piece of fruit each month, as an incentive for healthy eating. August to December we complimented the fruit programme with the provision of over 20,000 school lunches.
We have introduced a Community Care Plan led by Dr August Temu, the Kikavu Village Officers and ten local volunteers.
